Scheduling for Next School Year

The transition into 9th grade can be both an exciting and intimidating time in your child's life. With many changes to be expected, here at LMS, we strive to prepare each student for this next phase in their academic career. 

School counselors meet individually with each 8th grade student in February and March to plan for the 2024-2025 school year at LHS and complete an Annual Review.

In April, your child's course selections will be available on the Portal for your review. Any changes can be made with the school counselor by email, phone, or in person by student.

Once course selections are made and sent to the High School, students will then receive their schedule at the High School Orientation prior to starting the year. Watch for more details...

Current 6th and 7th grade students will receive schedules at the LMS Orientation the week before school. There is not a selection process. However, please make sure incoming 7th graders have filled out the Foreign Language Request Form.
