ATA/Leagues Amateur Trapshooting Association (“ATA”) Shooting

ATA shooting is not required by any of our athletes. However, if you are interested in learning more about registered shooting, please visit the ATA’s website, www.shootata.com. You can also download a copy of the ATA Rulebook.

There are a lot of different shoots that happen throughout the year. Here is the page where they are listed ATA by Zip Code. To search, type the state (or zip code) you are looking for and click Find.

The ATA also offers, in addition to an ATA membership, a youth only program for ages up to 22 called AIM (Academics, Integrity and Marksmanship). You can learn more about this program by going to their website, www.aim4ata.com. You can also download a copy of the AIM Handbook here.

Please keep in mind our Team’s eligibility requirements (which can be found in your Team Handbook). Also, it is our policy that Coaches and Athletes don’t shoot competition/registered shoots on the same squad unless it is off-season.  League Shooting League shooting is not required by any of our athletes. However, if you are interested in learning more about league shooting, please contact your local gun clubs. Each club may hold different league shooting events throughout the year. Please keep in mind our Team’s eligibility requirements (which can be found in your Team Handbook).
